FAQs
Q. What's the process for using EntrePaducah's Concierge services?
A. We ask that you call or email for an appointment. The first meeting typically runs about an hour as we discuss what help you need and how EntrePaducah can help.
Q. Is there a fee for your services?
A. Funding from our Strategic and Financial partners allows EntrePaducah to serve our clients at no charge. Occasionally, small fees may be charged for the cost of educational materials.
Q. Where are you and what are your hours?
A. EntrePaducah is located in the Commerce Center, 4th & Kentucky, downtown Paducah. Our offices are staffed from 8:30-5:00 each day, although appointments are available before or after hours if needed.
Q. Is my information safe and confidential with EntrePaducah
A. Yes! Only the Concierge Staff will have access to the information you share with us. We understand the personal and professional importance of not disclosing information about you or your concept. Your data is stored in our secure CRM system for staff reference.
Q. Do you have money for my start-up?
A. Our goal is to help make our clients "bank-able", meaning that your business plan is prepared well enough to be seriously reviewed by a loan, grant, or investment professional. Our Technology Concierge has access to certain grant and investment funds administered by the Kentucky Science & Technology Corporation (primarily for tech-driven business start-ups). Occasionally, we will offer cash prizes through business plan competitions. Beginning in 2012, our capital investment initiative, Purchase Capital, will offer investment opportunities for qualified entrepreneurs.
Q. Do you write my business plan, loan/grant application for me?
A. Like a good Concierge, we help you organize your thoughts and show you how to construct a solid business plan. When you present your plan to a loan/investment professional, it should be the product of your hard work. Successful entrepreneurs are always intimately involved in every aspect of planning their new business. Watch our website for upcoming seminars on how to write effective business plans and grant applications.
